Renewable Energies

Links to the EEX transparency platform and the German system registers of renewable energies which are provided by the transmission system operators (TSO) TenneT, 50hetz Amprion and TransnetBW.

EEX transparency platform

On the EEX transparency platform market-relevant generation and consumption data is published at a central and neutral site, close to the market, in order to further increase transparency on the wholesale market. This implements both statutory publication requirements and voluntary commitments by the industry.

The table below contains links to the expected and actual solar and wind power generation. This data is published by the transmission system operators.

In Germany, the TSOs are legally required to publish regularly the current system registers of all power plants, which are funded by the German Renewable Energy Act (German: Erneuerbare-Energien-Gesetz, EEG). These include solar energy from photovoltaics, wind energy, hydropower, biomass, geothermal and gas power plants. Below are the links to access the data.

The images below show the regional distribution of these plants for each two-digit postal code area in Germany. The installed capacity refers to the overall performance of each energy source. For more information read the entire article: Renewable Energies in Germany
